SEOTDA CARD GAME is a Korean card game using 20 Hwatu (hereinafter "Card") in which players bet on the value of their dealt cards across multiple rounds, similar to other showdown games like Poker.
SEOTDA CARD GAME is essentially 2 card stud. This is a betting game, and while it uses the card deck, it's assembled differently, only using 20 cards.
SEOTDA CARD GAME is played using 20 cards of a deck, consisting of only the two most valuable types of the cards from January to December. Card decks have numbers on them (1's on January cards, 2's on February etc.).
2. HAND RANKINGS
SEOTDA CARD GAME hand rankings are based on the combinations of two cards. The hands are ranked from highest to lowest as follows:
2.1 BRIGHT PAIR
The best hands in made are called BRIGHT PAIR.
“3·8 BRIGHT PAIR” (Gwang TTaeng) : Highest Hand
“1·8 BRIGHT PAIR (Gwang TTaeng)”: The 2nd Hand “1·3 BRIGHT PAIR (Gwang TTaeng)”: The 2nd Hand

Any pair of the same numbered cards from 1·1, 2·2, up to 10·10

2.4 NORMAL COMBINATIONS (Numerical Value Hands): Point
These are based on the sum of the card values, with 10 considered as 0 Point (e.g., 2 + 8 = 10 is considered 0, which is called Mangtong).
Example: 9 Point (Gap-O) The last digit of the sum of the two numbers is 9. 1+8, 2+7, 3+6
Example: Point (KKeut) When the number of digits of the sum of two numbers is from 8 to 1, it is said that 8 Point > 1 Point, and the higher the number, the better the hand. 2+6 = 8 > 7+8 = 5

Example: 0 Point (Mangtong) Sum of cards equals 0, which is called "Mangtong" 2+8 = 0
※ SPECIAL FUNCTION HAND
This is a special function that only applies to specific hands during general hand situations.
“BRIGHT PAIR HUNTER” (AM HAENG EO SA) As a combination of 4 and 7 of ten digits, BRIGHT PAIR HUNTER can win the battle against 1·3 or 1·8 BRIGHT PAIR. However, if the highest score in the final match is not 1·3 or 1·8 BRIGHT PAIR, it will be treated as 1 Point.
“ANIMAL 9·4” (MEONG (TEONG GU LI) GU SA) As a combination of 9 and 4 of ten digits, players can rematch with a hand of below 9 Point or less (i.e., when the highest of the opponent's hand is 9 Point or less).
“PAIR HUNTER” (TTaeng JAB-I) As a combination of 3 and 7, players can catch 9 PAIR or lower.
However, the player cannot defeat 10 PAIR, BRIGHT PAIR, and the invincible 3·8 BRIGHT PAIR.
If there is no pair among the opponents, the digit is 0, so it is treated as 0 Point (Mangtong).
“9·4” (GU SA) As a combination of 4 and 9, If a player's hand is 1·2 (Al Li) or less, i.e, the highest of the player's opponent's hands is 1·2 or less, the player can invalidate this round and rematch.
If there are already channel rooms, go in and place your bet without hesitation.
※ Minimum chips is each room’s stake x60 multiple.

3.3 BETTING BUTTON
Each player can usually take one of the following actions when it is their turn to act :
· FOLD(1) : Give up the round
· BET(2) : Players may bet if no other players have bet during the current round. Once a bet has been made, other players must ‘call’ by matching the amount bet, in order to remain in the hand.
· X2 RAISE(3) : Take the amount of the player in front and double the bet · CALL(4) : Bet the same amount of chips as the player in front of you
· QUATER(5) : Bet 25% of the total POT.
· HALF(6) : Bet 50% of the total POT. · MAX(7) : Bet all chips · ALL-IN(8): Bet all chips · CHECK(9): No Bet
※ BET RESERVATION : Players can reserve bets in advance based on the betting actions of the players in front of the player.
3.4 PLAY
SEOTDA CARD GAME is basically ante-based game. ※ Ante : Before a game, all players post the stake amount.
· BLIND BET : All players post the same blind based on the stake.
· DEALING : Each player receives one card.
BETTING ROUND : SEOTDA CARD GAME typically has two betting rounds.
First Betting Round: · Players bet based on their initial card. · Players can fold, call, or raise.
Second Betting Round (FINAL) : · Players receive the second card. They can open by themselves by swipping card down. · Players bet based on the combination with their one and second card.
Showdown : · After the final betting round, players reveal their hands. · The player with the best hand wins the pot.
※ REMATCH In SEOTDA CARD GAME, a rematch occurs in the following three situations. (Players who rematch will be shown a fire effect.)
ANIMAL 9·4 : · As a combination of 9 and 4 of ten digits, players can rematch with a hand of below 9 Point or less
(i.e., when the highest of the opponent's hand is 9 Point or less).
9·4 : · As a combination of 4 and 9, If a player's hand is 1·2 (Al Li) or less,
i.e, the highest of the player's opponent's hands is 1·2 or less,
the player can invalidate this round and rematch.
DRAW : · In case the players' hands are the same (DRAW), players can invalidate this round and rematch only between players with the same hands.
